NSW Police Cyber Safety Presentations – ThinkUKnow Australia

Students in Years 7–10 participated in cyber safety presentations delivered through the ThinkUKnow Australia program, an evidence-based initiative delivered in partnership with the NSW Police.

The presentations provided students with practical strategies to stay safe online and addressed a range of contemporary issues including privacy, sharing personal information, online behaviour, digital footprints, online exploitation, reporting pathways and where to seek help. Students were also reminded of their rights, roles and responsibilities when using digital technologies and social media platforms, together with the legal consequences that may arise from inappropriate online conduct. The sessions aimed to increase awareness of online risks while empowering students to make safe, responsible and informed decisions in the digital environment.

The program forms part of the College's ongoing commitment to student wellbeing, cyber safety education and child protection, ensuring students are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to navigate the online environment safely and responsibly.
