ANZAC Day Commemoration Assemblies at Al-Faisal Colleges

ANZAC Day Commemoration Services were held across all four Al-Faisal Colleges schools, bringing together students, staff, politicians, Mayors, Deputy Mayors, State Parliamentarians, community members, NSW Police representatives, ISNSW Board Chair and members, UWS Deputy Vice Chancellor of University of Western Sydney, local RSL Sub-Branch representatives, and guest speakers in a meaningful reflection on service and sacrifice. Special guests included The Hon. Philip Ruddock AO and Deputy Mayor of Canterbury Bankstown Council, Councillor Rachelle Harika, who shared personal reflections on the significance of ANZAC Day and stories of their families’ involvement in past wars. As part of the commemorations, SRC students respectfully participated in the laying of wreaths and poppies to honour fallen servicemen and women. The commemorations provided students with an important opportunity to reflect on the enduring values of courage, service, sacrifice, and remembrance that continue to shape our nation.
