Opening of Al-Faisal College – Liverpool: Stage 2 Library & GLAs Building

On15 November 2024, Al-Faisal College – Liverpool proudly marked the official opening of its Stage 2 Library and General Learning Areas (GLAs) Building, a significant milestone in the campus’s development. The opening ceremony was officiated by The Hon. Anne Stanley MP, Member for Werriwa, on behalf of the Federal Minister for Education, The Hon. Jason Clare MP. This impressive project was partly funded through the Australian Government’s Capital Grants Program.

 The new building features 12 modern General Learning Areas, 2 specialist rooms, seminar rooms, and a split-level library designed to support both primary and secondary students. At the heart of the building is a stunning central atrium, surrounded by landscaped gardens and highlighted by a symbolic Aboriginal ribbon, offering a space that is both functional and inspiring.

 These innovative facilities will enhance teaching and learning across the school, providing dynamic, collaborative, and future-focused learning environments. This development reflects the College’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and creating opportunities that empower students to thrive academically and personally.
